Hi guys just after some advice from anyone that has done a twin turbo conversion on a 4.2 v8 RS4.

I need to find out things like best turbos to use, what internal work is required etc etc.

    Thanks for any help.

From what Ive seen, if youre going for a twin turbo conversion in the b7, most people swap this stuff out

    Short Block
    Long Block
    Turbo
    Intake
    ECU
    Body Panels
    Transmissions
Badges swapped to those of a b5

Then you have yourself a nice b5s4

If he's a member on rs246.com he will have seen plenty about the TT RS4 as Vigo has been posting on there as well - so he would be aware of the "concerns" people have.

    B7 RS4 twin turbo conversion

    Mate.

    Assuming this is real...

You just opened a can of worms without even realising it!

If you want to go forced induction, get yourself over to MRC Tuning in Banbury (UK RS gurus) and get them to fit a TTS supercharger:

    And have never been happier

Too much work for TT and not enough return for what would be spent. Returns from supercharger are far superior. I wish it didn't require hacking up the front to make it work. JHM version requires quite a bit of changes but include everything. APR (now being sold to third party) has two versions and perform as well, but 1740 is expensive, IMHO. Tough one. But, if you have the dinero, then you can do anything..

Stick with a TTS supercharger fitted by MRC at Banbury - just read the posts on rs246 to get comments from actual owners. IMHO it's the best plan this side of the pond.

I wouldn't go with anyone else if I wanted a charger! MRC know what they're doing.

I'm sure somebody else will come along in a sec recommending JHM again (who I read are great, if you live in the US! No use to those of us in the UK)
