Is it possible to remove this part without taking off the entire front bumper

I am going to have my center grill sprayed gloss black and would also like to have this insert at the fog light area sprayed as well. Sorry, don't know what to call this part?
Is this something we can take off? Any instructions to do so? I would prefer to take the part off and deliver to body shop instead of leaving the car.

That's the fog grille. On the B8 models it was held in by tabs to the front bumper.
Should be able to pry it down a little to release the tabs and pull out.

Fog grilles can definitely be removed. Theres a couple taps that have provisions for a screw driver or a plastic pry tool to help pop them out.



As you'll see from the pic you can also pop the "trim" piece out of the actual grille so you don't have to worry about taping everything off. You can just pop the trim piece off and have it painted and then reinstall. Could probably even do this yourself with plasti-dip and save some extra cash.
