    Transmissions... Whats what?

I did some searching but didn't see anything about which gear boxes fit the 4.2..

However I did find that the B6/B7 1.8t 3.0 and 4.2 6MT gear boxes all fit the 2.7t, so I assume that makes them interchangeable amongst all 4 engines?

Anyone know what the differences are?

They will all bolt up, but they have different gearing. That's the biggest difference.

Any idea where I can find what the gearing is for the different transmissions?

    I found this..

I assume the B6/B7 gear box is the same yes?

Seems like the 1.8t is geared taller... Don't think I'd hate that for especially for highway driving.
