    2002 S6 Sale/Trade

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have not had it for long, but figured it would not hurt posting it up; being in school and having a good bit of money owed on loans/credit cards, selling this would not kill me. Only trade would be for a 2002-2004 Audi A6 with a 4.2l, must be black or white.
    PRICE: read latest posts

I have a 2002 S6, ming blue with 157k miles. Rebuilt transmission, street sauce torque converter, and a good list of other work done within 1k miles; motor was pulled and a lot of seals, and miscellaneous parts were replaced. Aluminum bufkin installed, cam seals, valve cover seals, etc. A good bit of money was dumped into it and I do not need to sell but figured it'd be a wise decision to free up cash.

Here is the link to my super short "build thread", vehicle is not perfect, and if it not for my OCD, many of these problems would be overlooked.

Heavily documented, have original window sticker, and everything Audi would have given you off of the showroom floor, only thing missing is the third row seat (other than novelty, its not worth it)... Stacks of receipts, brochures, even the sales write up from the original dealership.

It is indeed, I am worried if I am asking too much, or if there is just minimal interest.
Craigslist turned up two squirrels who flaked out and could not drive to meet.

Being open to offers will garner interest. It is an apparently well documented example. It will sell. Don't give it away though. The right buyer will come along.

I'd consider trading, but don't have the specifics you are after. Too low cylinder counts, V6 and I5. Ha!

I'm actually really looking forwards to get a 95-97 SOHC 2.2l subaru legacy outback, or 99-01 impreza 2.5rs. Im all over the place with my mindset, and I'm planning to purchase a house with my girlfriend and soon start in real estate investments.
So going from something of value of 10k, to something of 2k, I'll be giving myself a nice financial restart!

$9,995. I'd figure being under 10k would float someone's boat.

Saw one on the east coast for 13.95k with 10k in repairs, I feel price is reasonable.

That's ridiculous. Have you considered keeping it?

I mean...what is it..? Does EVERYONE have to have a clutch? That's an awesome car- you might try tinting the windows, I don't know why that makes such a huge difference, but it does.

I am actually looking through a couple A8/A8L and one S8 at the moment! Just hope these guys respond back to me... sellers now a days are usually flakey...
I mentioned to my girlfriend, " I'm the kind of guy you want to buy a car from (A.K.A. buy high, dump money into kt, sell low.......)".

If you want a hatchback look for a GR WRX, avoid the first year (2008) since Subaru bumped up the horsepower on the WRX in 2009. You don't get the 6-speed that the STi gets but its close to the performance of an STi for a lot less money.
    Previous vehicles: 2012 TTS Roadster - 2017 Golf R - 2002 S6 Avant - 2013 S4 - 2008 Subaru STi - 2007 Mazdaspeed3

Was more so looking for a 95-01 impreza, either 2.2l or 2.5l

If you sold your S6 for "equity", u shouldn't be looking at a8's or s8's, they will eat your wallet probably more so than the s6.

If I buy one for 2-3k and in running shape, needs a 2k trans. I'm still saving 4k equity out of it.

I am actually going to look at a local S8, owner wants 4.5k.. if clean and he wants it gone, I'd pay that or 3.5k to 4k.

Other wise yes, definetly not bright to look into another audi after paying to fix everything to near perfect on mine.
