Sepang Blue... Satin Black Wheels or Matte Black?

I want to get rid of the "flower" on my OEM wheels. Matte Black or Satin Black?

maybe a slate? I wouldn't go too dark on sepang. I have gunmetal wheels and they are as dark as i'd want. but like he said, it's personal preference.

Satin. It's that perfect split between matte and gloss. I'm not really a fan of matte black wheels in general, but that's just me.

Me too. I think it looks cheap. Unless you see it stopped, looks like the car is on steel wheels. But as others said, it's your car. Do what YOU like.

If you're not sure buy yourself some plastidip. If you dip the wheels and like them, then get them painted! :)

Or if you are considering other colors here is Bronze Neuspeed Rse10's we have on our Sepang S3 (i know different car but same color and similar)

I like the medium/light bronze suggestion, as well as gunmetal. IMO most black wheels tend to get lost aesthetically....not enough contrast.

^ AndyLien79 nailed it with that setup, but those are gray/gunmetal, especially evident in the second photo where the spoke crosses in front of the base on the brake caliper. The color nearly matches the gray plate on the caliper, much lighter than te black caliper itself.
The relatively lighter gray color offers some brightness and definition to the wheel's features.

Its Nogaro. I have met Andy, I've seen the car, I've had a Nogaro B6 and now have a Sepang B8.5.

Trust me, its Nogaro. He ordered the car custom in Nogaro.

I'm with Doug on this. I purchased satin black wheels on a whim for my moonlight blue S4 and loved the look. I also had gunmetal wheels and preferred the satin black by far.

Ive got a soft spot for black wheels on a blue car!!! Back in early 1998 I purchased a 1996 Grand Sport Corvette which was Admiral Blue with black wheels...... at the time it was the only car around with that combo, it seems the corvette world followed the trend with many people starting to put black wheels on their cars. I think it's a sick color combo that will always look great!!!!!
