I just picked up a 2009 s5. Its a great fun car but man.. I can't get my Bluetooth to work. I searched around but no answers. My mmi says.. Your telephone might not be connected or inserted properly... I put my phone on discover for Bluetooth and I don't get the small wireless screen on my mmi that others have. I have telephone settings and then Bluetooth settings on my car when I can input a pin number but that's it for the setup screen. Do I need vag com to help make it work?

Ok, are you trying to enable bluetooth for music or for phone calls? If you want music, you'll need to purchase an add on kit. The 08-09 cars will only do calls by default.

It could simply be a bad Bluetooth module that needs replaced. I bought a '08 S5 and had the same problem. I had Audi replace it and all is good.
