Help Please - Valve Cover Gasket Stripped Nut

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Halo,

I'm in the process of attempting to replace my Valve Cover Gasket, however:

the nut on the bottom left of the Valve Cover is just spinning in place. All the other came off but this one is just staying put, spinning seemingly endlessly.

Could anyone please give me some ideas on how to get the nut off?

    the studs are threaded on.

place 2 nuts on the stud if you can and back it out that way.

    Thanks for the responses guys,

What a buddy and I ended up doing was: lifting the Valve Cover itself, close to the nut, while spinning the nut in the "lefty loosey" direction, which helped it get off.

You could have also heated the nut with a map torch a little. That little heat expansion (doesn't take much) will make it so the nut would thread off.
I hate it when my car acts like a little bitch, treating me like a bitch
