Anyone put on their winters yet?

I've been meaning to but since the weather has been unseasonably warm I've been delaying it.

Anyone elose waiting and if so how long

I'm waiting too. looking at the 10 day forecast, hottest high is 62 with alot of 50s days. monthly forecast says days in the 50s till new years. so looks like I won't be in a hurry until the daytime temps drop a little more consistently

Did last winter with my all seasons. They have to last till the summer, picked up another set of rims for summer tires. Then ill buy some winter tires for the rims i have on. Hasnt snowed yet but im sure or at least hope it will soon.

Haha profiting in my procrastination. Just bought my winter wheels for the b8.5 last week but still deciding on tires (WS80's or DWS06's). Thank goodness I delayed putting the Wintersport 3D's on the B5, they would be melting right now.

As far as timing, I usually wait til average temps <40F consistently. I believe I swapped the B5's first week of Jan last year #globalwarming #algorewasright

Still on summer set up here. Temps are in the 50s for the next few weeks. I couldn't be happier. Was dreading putting those ugly things on.

Glad to know that most of us don't blindly follow the typical swap at turkey and tax time.

I think at this rate we will change them for 2016

That's the beauty of 2 sets of wheels. Takes 20 minutes, at the appropriate time.

Just installed tires to replace my set last set of DWS 2 weeks ago, "s" is still there. :) This is on my Subie.

Audi is on DW's and will be on road until salt drops.

It's going to be 70F Christmas Eve and >50F 2 weeks into Jan next year

^^Cold tires generally suck. Few miles of driving makes them perform better.

I'm still on summer tires. Winter wheels with tires go on once temps stay below 40*f. Weatherbug app has to show every day sub 40.

I run blizzaks, same size setup summer and winter with different wheels. This makes it simple to just swap out wheels and not have to change ride height (not slammed). Prior, used to raise and lower car accordingly. That got tiring, plus the cost of alignments.

Somewhere in CO. I didn't adjust my coilovers, just swapped in my OE C5 17s that have a larger tire on them. They are all-seasons that do fine in the snow. I'll be buying winter tires once they wear down.

Have those exact 17" ronals for my a4. bought them off a guy who had a wrecked a6 and i didnt realize at the time that they would not clear my front hp2 calipers on my a6 without spacers, so, they are going on the a4. looks good!

I just got some new Blizzak WS 80's mounted on my stockers.
I won't put them on until they say it's gonna snow though. Then I'll just swap them the night before.
As for now they're just some wall art in my garage:

Haha thanks. Yea I had to make sure they were all straight and even or it would drive me crazy.

I wanted to keep them out of the way. I don't think they're that high though. I'm still able to put them up and take them off easily without having to use a step stool or anything.

Yea I forgot the measurement but they're a little higher than that. Im 6ft tall and I can walk comfortably under the red bar. Thats what I was aiming for when mounting them. This way when I back my car into that side of the garage, I can get in and out of the car with nothing in my way. And its still easy enough to lift the wheels on and off the bar without struggling.
