    EVAP purge valve replace

I need to replace this valve on my 2009 and having real difficulties sourcing this valve. The valve comes with the hard plastic hoses connected and per my dealer they don't make the unit in the configuration for my engine. The updated part has different shaped hoses (again, hard plastic). This updated part appears to be the unit for 2013+.

I can't upload a pic b/c my phone was manufactured after 2006 so the file is too large. Here's a link.

This is the valve that sits on the top rear corner of the intake manifold, runs the hose underneath to a connection (the blue hose clearly visible between the intake runners) and also up to the top of engine where it connects to the breather hose that runs down into the turbo.

I'm surprised that I don't see more for our engines with this valve. I've seen where it can be the cause of p2187, system too lean at idle. This isn't the typical code thrown when this goes. After chasing every other cause down that I've been able to find and replacing several things, I want to change this valve out. I'm about to hack the plastic hoses and fashion a connection, which seems utterly stupid, but also seems required given the inflexible hose connections and they aren't making part 06H906517H anymore. Has anyone replaced theirs with a pre-2013 engine? What did you do?

Hey, I hope i'm not writing this too late. I have a problem with my 2010 Audi A4 2.0T, after refueling it would not start right away. I went to the dealer, and they told me that Purge Valve needs to be replaced, but they wanted $440 for that. So I took the cover from the engine out, and the part that I have there is also 06H906517H. From what I learned, they changed the part #, and now it's 06E133781K, You can purchase it at ESC Tuning. Link: https://www.ecstuning.com/ES2644249/ It even says on their website that previous version was 06H906517H.
    I hope it helps.

I have a spare leak detection pump if you need. Not sure if that's what you are looking for

Just curious what were your symptoms that led you to replacing this part? I have a loud clicking noise from that area of the motor and I'm still finding it hard to believe that "It is normal, TFSI motors all sound like that".

On a cold motor the N80 evap purge valve is closed. The ECU is running off of programmed maps and not using the O2 sensor yet as its not ready. Once the ECU detects the proper coolant temp it switches to warm loop mode and the N80 is cycled to bring in some gas vapors. It cycles to prevent an overrich condition and keep a high vacuum level. The N80 is quite noisy. Put your hand on it when its cycling and you will be able to match the vibrations with some of the ticking noises.
