This is complete horse shit. There's no way in hell Hong Kong has a larger Avant market than the US yet they get the goodies? Even at the crazy prices Audi USA should come out ahead on shipping this instead of the stupid AllRoad (apologies to the AllRoad owners)

When S4 Avants were available here in the US, Audi claims that they did not sell enough of them to justify continuing to bring them over to NA. So it makes them more desirable since we can't have them. Guys on the forums always go gaga over them and say they would buy one, and I don't doubt that. Unfortunately Audi says they know better and want us to buy an Allroad with a 2.0t engine or a Q5 / Sq5 SUV. IMHO, if they did make them available here in the US, sales would still be low UNLESS they offered a 6Mt which Audi also claims they don't make enough to justify offering those in the B9 S4.

If they can sell 5k SQ5's a year they can move atleast half that in Avant's. They just need to stop playing with us by selling the Avant's at 3-4k more than the sedan's and complaining that no one buys them. Or they'll sell them for even more than the SUV's. Of course no one wants to pay more for a wagon, all the soccer moms feel like they're unstoppable in those damn SUV's as they speed and brake every 5 seconds and at every single slight bend in the road.

Doesn't it cost money per version of every car to bring over to any market? I was on the German audi site.. S1 Sport back, RS Q3 looks nuts! I wish the S5 Sport back was state side. It's the perfect mini S7!
