Huge oil leak after PCV change

Hey guys, replaced my oil separator after getting a engine code for misfires and such with VCO2035075 on my 2010 B8 2.0T. Ran fine after, but then noticed a huge oil puddle under the car. After lifting it up and cleaning all the oil, fresh oil forms at the bottom where the transmission meets the engine. Anyone have any insight on where this oil could be coming from?

If you have a leak there, it may be the rear main seal.

Definitely the rear main seal. This usually happens when the PCV fails and pressure builds up.

If i just replaced the PCV with a new one, why would the rear main seal go if the PCV job is to release pressure.

if you drove around with a bad pcv valve for awhile, you could have compromised the seal.
