Nilla, sending you a PM too.

I paired my Passport 8500 X50 and Redline with the SC55. The SC55 has a database that alerts you of Redlight cameras before you are within range of getting caught. For example, you are .5 of a mile away from an intersection with a redlight/speedtrap camera, the SC55 will alert you of this before you get there. You can also plug it into your existing detector and it boosts the volume level and actually tells you what band you are receiving. I know the 8500 never said "k" band, just made a noise.
