    Exhaust system b8 2.0t

Need a new exhaust on my 2009 A4 2.0 and what brands do you recommend? I have 59k miles and my muffler already is bad. I do not want to break the bank but want a good system that performs well but not loud. Will eventually add the APR chip upgrade.

AWE, Borla, APR... Plenty of options. Or just remove the rear muffler, which is way cheaper and sounds good.

Go to a custom exhaust shop, and have them replace it. It's cheaper than buying a new exhaust that won't actually improve performance.

Did you install it yourself? Is the borla exhaust loud inside the car? I was hoping for a dual exhaust to change the look but I may just go with a single outlet.

There is a Remus exhaust for sale in the classifieds.

But, 4ringnut's suggestion is good. Go to an exhaust shop and have them swap out your stock mufflers with magnaflows

Yea I actually heard a guy at my office with a 2012 B8 A4 swap his mufflers for some generic magnaflows and it sounds better than a 2k AWE set up. He paid a couple hundred bucks. Pair that with a nice intake like the new ECS one to get some induction/ turbo noises and I think it would be a good combo. Im sure an HFC would add more growl too

That is my setup, except I had the rear removed. Sounds great and cost a few hundred bucks.
