Nothing brakes wise will straight up bolt to a B6/7. The front R8 calipers will bolt up to a B6/7 with the correct brackets from Apikol.

I have R8 front calipers with those brackets and RS4 front rotors with JHM lightweight rotor rings on my S4 that I got used from a member here a long time ago.
I also have a used set of R8 rear brake calipers from a local R8 guy that couldn't sell them and they will not clear anything in the rear of a B6/7 without a custom made bracket. The OEM rear R8 brakes are huge too with four piston calipers and 356 mm rotors. For example, the Stoptech rear RS4 BBK uses 355 mm rotors and four piston calipers. The R8s use a separate parking brake caliper setup like the Stoptech rear RS4 BBK too.

Rs4 owners can get away with decent lips still with their phat fenders but not so much on the b6/7 s4
This is very true too. I had to modify my R8 front brake calipers to clear all my wheels. Basically took a hand grinder with an aluminum grinding wheel to the rounded portion of the top sides of the caliper to make clearance. Also had to remove the front support bar.
