    Front license plate mount?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have a 2012 S4 with the license plate grille. There is a recess in the grille for a license plate and two holes. My question, although it seems stupid: am I missing something to mount the plate? The holes in the grille do not match the license plate holes and it really seems like there is supposed to be another plastic piece in between the bumper and the plate. Any thoughts?

Here is a picture of what I have. Looks like I'm not missing anything?

It's just weird to me that the two holes for mounting the plate aren't the standard width???

    Let the drilling commense...

The only reason I am doing this is because I got x2 $75 tickets for no front plates in 4 days parked in downtown Denver. Wow.

Install the quick release plate backer before you drive downtown. Denver meter maids are some eagle-eyed f*cks... I've gotten tix within mins of meters expiring. Run outside to see some smug douche on a segway blasting away

lol yikes. The law to not require a front plate should be passed some time here in Ohio, but until then I still have no front plate. The tickets here are $110 I think, but it's rare to really get one unless you were doing something else and were acting like a jerk.

You could do this, save drilling holes.

I have the RS grille and had to punch holes in the the Texas plate, I'd rather do that than damage the gloss black plate holder. I wish I'd seen the platypus first.
