Interior Colour Options in Canada

So I'm looking at a few options for a new vehicle (S6 or RS7) and I'm wondering what has happened to Audi Canada's interior choices. Black or White. How exciting..... What happened to red, or anything with some contrast? The dealership is telling me I can have whatever colour I want but for $8,000....... I'm OK paying a few for an upgraded colour, but c'mon 8k to get a factory interior color like red that is available in the USA? That's just ridiclious. Maybe if I was requesting hot pink leather that wasn't standard.

Anyone have any insight here? Am I just dealing with a clueless dealership or is this how it is in the great white north?

Looks like red interior on the s6 is a $2300us option package in the US.
