    Scratches

    Gentlemen,
Today I noticed some scratches above the rear wheel wells and just behind it. I think rocks and such kicked up driving through some local road construction. I've searched the forums and see some older (years ago) posted on scratches. Maybe solutions have changed...
Most of the scratches are thin and slightly catch my nail. Any suggestions from the group are appreciated.

Two weeks! It's just two weeks... Hate LA.

I don't think any of those are rocks. If you can't catch them with your nail you can probably get them out yourself. If it does catch your nail I would go to a reputable detail guy and get a good opinion on what to do with your situation.

Definitely not from rocks. Have a good detail shop take a look at it. Should buff out no prob.

Depends how thick the paint is. If it's stupidly thin then they may not be able to be taken out fully but as long as they not too deep they should come out easy with some correction

I got too close to a bush and it scratched the side of my S6. taking it in for detailing at a local auto body shop. clay bar, buff, wax....should look brand new.

I also have paint chipping off the lower front valence on the passenger side only. Probably due to the sand on the road shoulders slowly eating away at the paint. Anyone else have this issue?

Get this https://www.detailersdomain.com/coll...isher-base-kit and https://www.detailersdomain.com/coll...-compound-pint, this will get rid of the scratches, swirls, whatever, then use 4000 and then a final glaze/wax. It is best to clay bar first, if money is not a concern pay someone to do it but having it yourself is great. If something happens I can correct it that day and live stress free at least when it comes to scratching the car.....
