Where to find a used bumper?

I know it is a difficult item to find but where can I source a used front bumper? I'm trying to get one for my brother for Christmas. I tried car-part, ebay, and the classifieds. It seems like used bumpers are almost the price of just outright buying a brand new one? Weird. Does anyone know somebody that has an extra they would part with laying around? TIA

dude ive been looking for a used front bumper forever, mine is pretty fubared. i always get a laugh when guys are trying to sell their s4 bumper for slightly lower or even the same price as a new painted bumper lol. I think im going to try and repair my bumper and a cupra lip should hide the damage when i install it. op if you live in usa i would check out panjo/craigslist/car-part. ive considered reiger only because ive seen it look good on some cars, others not so much..

    A front bumper, you say?

There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

I've looked into it as well in the past. They are few and far between and when you do find them, as mentioned above, they go for too much to justify for used. I want to go back to a near factory front end look. My front bumper was opened up for the JHM FMIC, but it's a little too in your face for my taste. Unless I'm able to achieve a satisfactory look using RS4 style mesh in this bumper, I will likely get a new OEM bumper - I've found them as low as ~$650 then of course you need to paint it.

Yeah I believe the cheapest is like $650-700 but it doesn't include fog light grills, washer caps and filler plate. So a full bumper if you needed all that is still expensive sadly

That's the first part that gets damaged on any car that was hit (thus nothing on junk yard) and if there is a part out, people justifiably ask almost new part price for it and it sells...

I've tried all forums and car-part and audis4parts, just got one of genuineaudiparts for $650 plus $60 shipping. I got tired of looking at the messed up bumper

I'm going to go for a spring/summer/fall bumper, possibly an RS4 aftermarket, and then just use the stocker for my winter bumper - there is a great pic somewhere of some guy with his "winter bumper" (sticker labeled on the bumper) hanging on the wall in his garage with winter sports stickers all over it.

I've seen that pic, and it's awesome. I'm right with you - going to see how torn up my stock gets beat up this winter, and be left with now choice to upgrade when it picks up the inevitable bump/bruise...
