Immobilizer activated randomly

Just put my motor back in and went to start her up. . Started fine then died. Thought it was the normal fuel delivery upon first start up but quickly realized that was not the case.

Scanned with my xtool and found engine start canceled because of immobilizer.
I have tried a few things but would like to open it up to input/ideas/experience /HELP.

What sort of stuff did you change around? ECU?
If nothing but engine R&R then your best chance would be try a different key. Why? I don't know. Weird glitch between transpoonder and ignition or ECU.
If that doesn't work AND it was just fine previously there are a variety of weird things you can try that no logic can explain a good outcome: leave key in ignition turned to on for an hour or more, maybe hook a battery charger up.
Or put the key in, turn to on and unhook battery and wait a few minutes and then reconnect.
Once in a while it'll glitch and then be fixed, no known causes for these things except extended low voltage or absence of charge.
All you can do is fiddle with it and hope it comes to its senses- or re-adapt the keys.

What fault code are you getting? Are you running a stock 551r file?

Everything was fine before. I did have a new battery and now it's dead. Maybe left it hooked or unhooked for too long or something. It's not a stock 551r file any longer but the tune was done awhile back.the car was running then had to do some clutch work.

Sorry you haven't gotten more responses, I was hoping you had a bad checksum or something but it looks like you've either disrupted the connection to the cluster or the cluster needs to be recoded to your ecu. Wish I could be of more help, maybe try over at http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/ and see if they can get you straightened out there.

Thanks man. Turns out I forgot to connect one of the connections under the ecu. So I think I'm screwed. But I did use argdubs tool to disable immo, but now my cluster flashes and the gauges do not work. I'm getting close though
