    Picked up my B9 today

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    So I finally got to pick up my new 2016 B9 avant tonight. I did sign me up for one the very same day they were added to the system. Scuba-blue 3.0TDI tiptronic, totally different beast compared to my allroad 2.0TFSI S tronic.
    Stands on original springs but plans are to drop it and buy some better rims although it's hard to find anything for the B9 yet but hopefully I'll get my hands on something before spring.
    First trip was straight to the wheel shop for some proper tires, I went with Hakka again, 8 this time. Simply the best road legal tire there is for snowy and icy roads.

    Haven't had enough seat time really but it feels more direct on steering inputs, and the motor is a peach for sure. Love the slugginess of the tip, much smother than my S tronic. Remains to see what happens when I stomp on it.
    Matrix lights puts on a nice little light show when i start the car, gotta carch that on film.

    If all goes well and nothing comes up I have tomorrow pretty much open so plenty of time to assess it then =)

    Picked up my B9 today

    Congrats on the Avant! Even better that its the 3.0 TDI too. IMHO thats the best engine option period. Crap ton of torque and plenty of mpg (40 observed in the 2-3 days I had one). The A6 TDI loan car i got pulled like a freight train!
