    361 relay

good morning. I am new to the site, and there is lots of info, but I cant seem to find anything specific about the physical location of the 361 relay. I have power to the power mirror control switch, but nothing getting to the harness at the doors. I have tried two different switches, and the same results. So, I'm thinking it must be the relay, but I cant find it...
    any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Most of the relays are under the driver's knee bolster.

Pull the trim piece just above steering column toward you, remove two 8mm bolts, open driver's door and remove fuse panel cover, toward the right hand side remove the 8mm bolt, remove two (possibly 3?) 8mm bolts toward the bottom of the knee bolster then when gently pulling it back for clearance you can unplug the footwell light and the OBD port. You should see a bunch of stuff under there, hope that helps! Some relays are in with the ECU too but unless the 361 I something very important you probably won't find it there.

I was in there. several relays, but couldnt find the one for the power mirrors. can anyone confirm if the car didnt have power folding mirrors, is there a different relay that would have been used.

If it's for the power fold mirrors it would be tied to the memory seat module I believe. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe C5 doesn't have power fold mirrors or right hand mirror auto dip in reverse if it doesn't have memory seats.

Easiest way to tell yes or no on power fold mirrors is the switch. If it's a factory switch it will indicate mirror folding when turned to point backward.

Rudimentary diagram below, the 'O' is the dial, if the arrow below the dial is missing from the switch then there's no power folding mirror.

Thanks for the input. I just got a copy of the wiring. It made me remember that the seat memory is not working either. The mirror switch does not have the fold option. Back to sorting out the memory issue....

i did some checking today. on the drivers side left kick panel, i found two black plugs not plugged in, coming from the door harness.
I found one plug in the group of plugs that had nothing plugged into it, but these didnt want to fit. I think this is the power mirror issue, but now where do they go...
    Thanks, and Merry Christmas..

I'll be pulling my dash this winter to wrap it in Alcantara. I'll try to remember to check for those plugs for you. Feel free to remind me too.
