ok so here is a thread ive been wanting to post in these two weeks of owning my 2003 Audi A4 V6 3.0 6spd Its a keeper deff but one it smokes a little on the passenger side in the engine bay from investigation im thinking its a valve cover gasket but im not entirely sure i haven't done a full tune up yet but will be soon the second thing that is happening is i know Audi have loud fuel injection but im hearing something close to like a bolt in the engine moving around and once the engine is turned off it like shoots around then falls to the bottom but idk if anyone has ideas on this it would be gladly appreciated.

Problem 1: Probably the valve cover gasket leaking onto the exhaust manifold, at least that's the simplest/cheapest place to start

Problem 2: Something bouncing around could be one of the clips from the intake changeover valve. They get brittle and break off. Pull the intake manifold and get them out before they fall into the cylinder.
