2016 3.0T uses dual injection?

I stumbled upon this article and noticed it mentioned the normally direct injection is now dual injection? Is that correct. I don't remember seeing that on the manufacturers spec sheet anywhere.

Yes the new 3.0 does have dual injection to control particulate matter.
