    FMIC Intercooler Piping/Hoses

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have a Garrett FMIC but the piping that I got with it seems kinda cheap and doesn't quite fit right. I'm looking to get something better however, I cannot find any quality kits sold apart from purchasing the intercooler as well. I've checked the typical places but I cannot find a quality kit anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Well when I say intercooler piping what I mean is the silicone couplers along with the actual pipes. I am looking for an entire kit with everything included.

I dont think the intercooler is but the piping I have is. It just doesn't fit just right on the turbo side and because of the weird angle it shimmies loose every now and then. I'm tired of it so I'm looking to get a higher quality kit that has a better fit.

Unless your pushing major hp the eBay stuff will get the job done.
Just paint the pipes\ couplers black.

I would update you couplers and t clamps.
That site I referred you to siliconeintake.com has those, they have angled couplers so you can fine fit the pipes.

I just replaced my hot and cold sides with pipes and couplers from silicon intakes. they have everything you need. be advised, im super disappointed with their shipping. paid for priority, and it sent me a "shipped" email a week before they actually left their facility.

well i ordered new hot side to reroute it because i wanted to fit bi xenon housings. so mine might a little different and not necessary for single xenon/halogen housings.

I bought a CXracing kit from ebay and used the piping with a high quality core that I already had - http://www.ebay.ca/itm/CXRacing-FMIC...1V8jx1&vxp=mtr

The piping almost fit perfectly, did a couple little tweaks. Decent quality stuff too. You can sell the core later and recoup some money.

What he said. I bought the cxracing kit and swapped the core out for a Treadstone TR18T
I did however have to fab my own FMIC mounting bracket.
