So I'm an idiot. . . My clutch started acting funny several months ago. Preparing to bite the proverbial bullet I searched the forum to decide which clutch to order.

After much review I decided to order the South Bend K70205-HD-O-SMF clutch to replace the RA4 Stage 1 from ECS I have been running for the last 3 years. Thinking cool I have the single mass flywheel upgrade already, so it's a perfect match. Had it sitting in the garage for a few months. Well I didn't do enough double checking and just realized today. . . with the transmission and old setup removed that the South Bend clutch I ordered is for the 228mm SMF not the 240mm that I have.

Just shelled out a second time to order the correct size clutch from ECS and have it overnighted to me. Just wanted to post the info in case it helps anyone else from making my dumb and costly mistake.

Also, turns out the reason the clutch was acting strange in the first place is that the coolant flange was leaking down and contaminated the friction disk as well as making the throwout bearing engagement sticky. I'll be adding a thin layer of RTV to the top of the tranny case when I put it back together. Hopefully that will protect the clutch should the new flange leak down the road.
