DP. It will improve spool time on the low end. HPFP mod will yield you slight upper midrange to high end rpm gain.

To get to a point where fueling is the limiting factor you should have the downpipe first. If you don't have a need for more fuel supply upgrading the pump wont do anything.

I would vote hpfp. I noticed a decent improvement in mid-range power even without a tune. My downpipe went on with the new turbo, so I can't say how much gain there was from it.

That seems unlikely. In order for that to happen your car would have to be leaning out or experience fuel cuts for some reason. This is my AFR with the stock pump. The ability to push more fuel isn't going to help anything.

Unlikely as it may be, my powerband definitely felt "fuller" and I'm not the only one who has noticed this.

X2 I dont see why there would be gains from an HPFP if you dont have the tune to use it. Removing the oem bottle neck cat and replacing it with an HFC in the other hand will be significant.

This^. Unless you are having hpfp issues a HFC will bring more low end gains for less cost.

If you don't have a HFC or TP I'd go with the HPFP, DP may feel better, it just won't do justice until you open it up between the DP and the Turbo

I've done both, plus some other things... I would highlight suggest opening up your exhaust system first.

Think of your engine as a big air pump; ultimately, its main job is to get air in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible. The quicker air exits, the quicker it can enter. Opening your exhaust is the very first mod I would suggest; go with a test-pipe if you can. It'll save you the hassle of there being a limit of you decide to go bigger later.

Once your engine is inhaling and exhaling efficiently, you can start adding fuel. You'll see much larger gains with an HPFP and tune with a free breathing engine. I'm not going to shill one test pipe over another, but mine passed tight Ontario emissions standards without an issue.

And let's face it; you can buy a new test pipe for half the cost of a used HPFP...

    Cheers!

The HPFP will only help if you get a tune that will take advantage of it. Its not just a magical "swap it out and get 20hp on the top end" thing.

Just wanted to clarify since I hadn't seen it mentioned.

A DP will help because it removes a restriction behind the turbo and lets it spool quicker.

What use are getting the mods if the software isn't there to back it up?

As much as I would love to take his money, $600 would be better spent just getting a stage 1 tune from JHM. They'll give you a free upgrade to stage 2/2hpfp too
