Audi S4 on I35 Heading North to Dallas on 12/11

Saw a fellow Audi S4 enthusiast driving north on I35/I35E between Waco and Dallas on 12/11 at around noon. Guy driving with two buddies. He may have a new car as I might have seen his license plate flapping like it was a temp plate. I split off to head east to Shreveport and he kept heading for Dallas proper. Are you on here? I cannot really tell Audi S4 years by for B8.5s but I am pretty sure it was an 8.5 and it looked a trifle different from my 13, maybe slightly different headlights? Can someone show me the difference of the front and rear ends of B8.5s by years?

There are no variants of the B8.5 body... From the 2013 MY to current they are all the same. Same goes for the B8's.

So do black optic cars from previous years... I wouldn't call that a different body style even if it is the case though. Would be a shame if they didn't have the silver mirrors... That's an S' tell

I have a 2015 Prestige and it has silver side mirrors. I bought my car off the lot, so color-matching mirrors could be an option.

i believe only Black Optic has body colored mirrors.. i think no matter the year all others retain silver mirrors

easiest way to spot a 10-12my vs 13-16my is the headlights or the stock grill on the cars.

Quad-exhaust pipes, too. All S-cars have em ;) Well, current ones anyway. Yet, the RS cars get dual ovals. Odd.
