    Transmission Swap Questions: Auto -> 5MT -> 6MT

    As the title suggests, my car originally started out as a 1.8t Tiptronic. I recently did a 5 speed swap on it with a b6 01A. This involved changed the front CV's, drive-line, and rear diff with the appropriate sized/geared assemblies.

    Now, I am looking to pick up an 01E 6-speed out of a b6 3.0. My plan is to mate this with the 2.7t I am building.

    So, as far as swapping goes, my questions are as follows:

    1. It appears the 01E uses a 4.11 final drive. It also appears the stock b6 Tiptronic rear diff is 4.11. Can anyone confirm this? If it is, great. I can use my old auto diff.

    2. Will either my old Tiptronic front CV's or current 01A 5 speed front CV's work with the 01E in the b6?

    3. Will either my old Tiptronic drive-line or current 01A 5 speed drive-line work with the 01E in the b6?
