anyone use USP's metal slave cylinder line/slave cylinder?

my 6 speed swap kit was missing the master clutch cylinder to brake fluid reservoir and the slave to master cylinder line. I ran across USP's and their entire metal slave and slave to master line is the same as a new OEM slave line. considering going that route if it doesn't require buying anything else and is quality

I use it and I think the vast majority of people who replace their slave end up with the USP.

As far as quality, idk. It's a metal slave cylinder and braided line. Worked as expected lol.
And yes, direct replacement with the line

I used it before my S4 went under the Knife. Went with USP's complete metal slave kit, and coupled that with Autozone's Metal Master clutch cylinder. I love the pedal feel once eliminating all the plastic hydraulic components.

I used Metal slave with 034 2an fittings with 36" Kevlar line. Swivel an fittings so you don't have to play with clip

I have it, had it for sometime now. It is a good upgrade. Hardest part is extracting the old hardline. I no longer fear bleeding my clutch for a track day.

awesome I picked up the line.. I'm converting from tip to 6 speed so luckily everything is out and no old lines to replace.. anyone know where I can get the retention clip the holds the line in place? this "swap kit" this guy sold me is missing all kinds of things, some of which are really dumb and small, but ever so necessary

I'd wait and make a list of things to order and get them all at once, it sucks to pay shipping multiple times. dont ask me how I know.

Make sure you have the drivers side axle shield, the one from the auto trans doesn't bolt up to it.

yeah very true.. I've got that.. ironically the passenger one he sent is cracked. so at least I've got my original on that. this kit is incredibly incomplete. I'm actually a little worried about the internals of the diff/01E trans. I already had to replace the diff flange seals as they were badly leaking. I took inventory of EVERYTHING he sent and placed orders with ECS, 034, and USP for stuff. should be able to fire this thing up in about two weeks. I've replaced almost every gasket/seal in the engine, removed SAI components, replaced vacuum lines, drained all fluids, decreased, and loosened/retightned bolts on hard to replaced items like alternator, just in case they go out in the future. should make removing them easier if I need to. can't wait to start it again as a stage 3 beast. in the meantime, pissed about how this guy ripped me off on this swap kit

actually, since you've done the swap, do you have any pics/wiring diagrams needed for the clutch pedal switch to ECU and clutch pedal switch to brake? also doing that cruise control sensor that is mounted behind the clutch pedal if you have that. I have OEM factory plugs for both

I didnt take any pics, but that wiki is pretty much worthless when it comes to the electrical part...

Go off of the pin locations and not the colors they list on the wiki, some of them are incorrect.
I used a 6 speed harness so it will be different from what you need to do. Invest in a multimeter to test continuity so you know what pins are going where in the ecu plenum.
