    Buying a used Ross tech vag com cable advice on what to look out for?? Also does anyone know if I need anything for the software? I heard it's free, do I need a code or something? Thanks in advance

    For software, yes its free, and the license is built into the cable. So download the software from the ross tech website and then it should recognize the original(real) cable and work perfectly.

    I know there's not. Done it with my genuine RossTech cable.
