What hose am I missing here?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Started removing parts to take off the valve cover and found this hardline going to the combi valve disconnected!

Where should it connect and what are effects of leaving it open?
I can see that my SAI is deleted judging by the missing hose to the air box.
Is that hardline part of it? Do i just need to put a plug on it?

    Thanks

Just make sure that the vacuum hose from the N112 to the combi valve has also been removed. That way the combi valve will never open and it doesn't matter what you do with that hard line.

Thank you. I'll have to read through SAI removal diy to learn what I should have left in here.
I see a line plugged just over the oil filter housing. I think that one was the line going to the airbox, correct?

So, which is the line from combi going to N112? I can see the small line going from it to under the intake manifold.

The combi valve vacuum hose runs from the N112 underneath the intake manifold, behind the block and connects to the combi valve.

The N112 is the valve on the right. The plate holding the N249 (on the left) and N112 (on the right) bolts to the bottom side of the intake manifold.

    Thank you.
I still have that hose running to the n112 valve. Should I remove it?
Would I better off to just do the combi valve delete?

If you don't have an SAI pump then the combi valve and N112 serve no purpose. If the N112 is still working and connected to the combi valve you are getting an open exhaust line blowing into your engine bay from the open hard pipe with every cold start.

That makes sense as I'm getting slight exhaust smell on cold startup. Would that also cause fluctuating vacuum at idle?

I doubt it. The combi valve is only active during the first 90 seconds of a cold start. After that it closes and has no effect on anything.
