Cracked passenger side mirror glass (please fold your mirrors in on tiny streets)

I clipped a mirror from another car while driving 10mph on my tiny neighborhood street. This did absolutely no damage to anything but my mirror glass on my passenger side which popped out and shattered. How the hell that happened, I don't know??? I'm lucky to have the auto-dimming glass which is pretty pricy. Part number is 8F0857536L.

Does anyone have any recommendations for where to find a good replacement? I'd really not like to have to spend $380+ just to replace this mirror glass.

That sucks. Might be worth upgrading to the power-folding mirrors?

agreed. i didn't realize the mirrors cost that much each. might as well spend $800-900 for a complete folding set.

It doesn't look like any of those kits actually include the glass though.

I think I have a spare mirror glass for the passenger side. Will have to look when I get home.

If you have a $100/$250 comprehensive deductible, you might be better off turning in an insurance claim. Rates should not be affected

I'd certainly purchase it off of you if you still have it. I'll PM you.

Sadly, my comprehensive deductible is $1k. Pretty much only good if a tree falls on my car or my 100 year old garage implodes. Both are possible.
