    S4 lease rates December 2015

Going in today to pick up my 2016 s4, can't seem to find the lease rates (mf and residuals) for December 36/10. Also considering a 36/7500

order it in August and mf was .00137 and residual was 56% (I think)

Looks like October had dropped to .00119 residuals 57%

any help would be greatly appreciated.already negotiated the selling price I am happy with so don't want to get taken by a MF mark up.

    S4 lease rates December 2015

The message boards on Edmunds were able to provide me with updated rates a while ago.

You don't agree to the lease rate at the time of the order?

I've never leased so excuse what may be a silly question

You lock in and agree to lease rate and selling price when you order, if rates get better you negotiate when signing the final paperwork. In my case they did MF went from .00137 to .00119 and residual stayed at 57

Went for a 39 in the end with .00119 since would rather return in March in 3 years hopefully b9 rs4 is out, Audi lets u out early 3 months so figure saved another 17 a month.

In the end got a 2016 for 30 less then I was paying for my 2012 /happy

Ok. Seems leases have a lot more flexibly. Interesting

Loans work the same way. You can lock in rates (your choice, you don't have to), they will check again when the car reaches the dealer and you can choose which rate you want. They literally cannot create a loan or lease and take your money if you order a car. There *must* be a VIN to finalize paperwork.

My dealer did ask for a larger deposit to order the car because I ordered a custom color.

Also OP if you have used Audi Financial before you should get better rates than the standard rates.

See i buy cars on lot. I feel they can work more on the price than a custom order. Drive out the same day I get my loan

This is my 5th car with AFS and 6th total with dealer (Porsche finance was the other)

This was my first order new the rest were all off the lot. Only real deal I got was in the Cayman S (owner is an acquaintance) gave me a screaming deal on that in 08.

I deal directly with the sales people since I have lost touch with him so this is the first time I had to "negotiate" not hard with ACNA 6% and loyalty and knowing the base MF.

As for lot vs order if you are willing to walk away from the dealer and shop around I don't see a difference. Yes they need to move lot inventory but they also need to move "allocations" on orders.

In any event I'm extremely happy, was worried getting a car basically the same would be boring. The MMI improvements from 2012 to 2016 alone are worth it, add in sepang blue vs my old ibis 19 vs 18 rims, dsg vs manual(I don't miss the manual, yet), do miss the steering of b8 a bit. Also For 30 bucks less a month compared to my 2012 and an ownership cycle that should put me in a spring deliverd B9 (hopefully rs4)

Well my custom order S6 is the same price most people paid picking up off the lot. So I'm not sure the logic holds up, I think it is mostly going to depend on your dealer, and your negotiating skills. But there is no two ways about it, if you custom order they ask for a deposit before the order is sent to the factory. Usually the deposit is $500 and it will go towards your car when you finalize the agreement after he car arrives.
