Hey, how y'all doing ? So just got a 2006 Audi A4 2.0 L, was thinking to get extended warranty on it due to the fact it has 144000 miles on it and I know labor for adui cars is not cheap at all. Was hoping y'all could help me out finding a great company that covers most of the expensive Audi parts. Thank you

I personally would not buy a warranty for that car. The car isn't worth much more than what a good warranty might cost you. These cars aren't THAT problematic.

Rather than the insurance, keep up on your preventative maintenance. There's tons of info on this website on what to do!

Fidelity is the only warranty worth buying for our cars but you'd have to go in to the dealer for inquiry. You don't have to get the full coverage, the 'Powertrain' or a step up to 'Silver' should be good enough. I purchased the Platinum Coverage after the factory warranty expired and it has pretty much paid itself since 2011.

Like the others said, not worth it. I was dumb enough to get one for my car. I later found out that i got screwed with i actually needed the repair. there is one warranty company whose name ive forgot that will actually cover every little thing but it runs u a couple hundred bucks a month so unless u need a new engine, i wouldnt go that rout either. I now know what my car needs and use this forum to learn about other people's issues and learn from it. I try to replace parts slowly when i see an common issue with the car by a certain amount of miles. As long as u fix things before they actually breakdown, it wont be as expensive. I learned the hard way to fix thins when needed rather than trying to sleep on it.

    good luck!`

I bought a warranty for my car and they denied claims on two separate engine issues within the first couple months. Sensing a pattern of their business practice, I cancelled the policy and got all my money back. Third party warranty companies rarely pay out and the odds are slim that you'll get more out of them than you spent on the coverage. Just follow the DIYs here and do your own work. Almost any technical issue can be answered on this forum.
