My advice would be to just buy a VAGCOM cable rather than messing with that, though, because you can do way more with it. Retrofitting factory electrical components is a huge undertaking, and if you haven't bought a car yet I'd suggest just finding one with the general options you're looking for.

What is your question about the comfort/sport control functions? You mean the Audi Drive Select where you can alter the suspension and engine parameters? I believe that this would be a tough to find option found in true S-line cars with the nav and sport package, but input from others would be appreciated since what you're describing is truly a unicorn.
Thank you for fast reply. Yes i was talking about the drive select. I saw a retrofit of it in a french forum ans wonder if it is worth it. that option may be more common over there. I did a lot of retrofit on my B7, but i would like to avoid it this time. But there is such a huge price difference between standard cars and those with options that i wonder if i should not thinking of retrofitting what i want (seats, suspension, bluetooth, etc..)
As for the MMI hidden menu, you say that i can achieve all the same coding with Vagcom? If so, i have a V-checker that does coding and also i think Carista does it too?.
thx
