Cam Follower - INA vs OEM

    Hey all,
Probably a stupid question, but I am curious of people's experiences.

Looking at ordering a replacement cam follower to install at my next oil change. I came across two brands through Europaparts.com that's got me wondering, is there anything wrong with going with the INA brand for $20 vs OEM for $46? Clearly, the INA is on mad sale, regular price they are roughly the same price ($51 vs $57).

    Thoughts? Pulling the trigger today.

I've used both. First obviously OEM - 50k miles and did show signs of wear. Second was OEM as well - 20k miles and looked fine, minimal wear, basically just the coating had begun to come off. Third was INA - 20k miles and showed the same wear as the OEM at 20k. I may still have the original and the third followers. If so, I can post a picture of them. I do not have OEM #2 though.

Good to know So virtually no difference between them regarding wear (for your situation; I know everyone's is different). I texted my mechanic buddy who works on these all the time and he said INA is perfectly fine. I guess the crazy 50%+ sale price got me a little concerned they were cheap-o.

    Ordered the INA follower
