    Awe touring exhaust w/ resonated downpipes being installed

    I'm having exhaust installed today and want to know if I should or shouldn't remove the soundkator or whatever it's called fuse removed ? I've had. Few different answers and real am unsure. Please advise

    IMHO It's a lot easier to just pull the fuse, takes 2-5 mins tops.

    Would disabling it help with drone?

    well disabling it will definitely remove the fake exhaust sound being pumped through the speakers. But as far as the drone is considered, you might need resonated downpipes to address that.

    Ok thanks I already have the resonated downpipes being installed as well since I'm DSG to avoid some drone.

    I took mine out, with it still in it seemed to me that the cabin noise was too loud. It seemed like it added to the drone, with it pulled the exhaust sounds amazing and you can hear what you put your money into better. But with exhausts, it's usually personal preference. Up to you! Drive around with it in for awhile and take it out and see what you like the best. Congrats on getting the AWE set up, I love mine!

    I believe ever since the B8's, I could be wrong. However, if u have Audi drive select, soundaktor will change the sounds inside the cabin if u switch between comfort, dynamic and sport modes. Another way is to check ur manual for the fusebox diagram and see if it says Soundaktor/exhaust sound tuning

    I don't have dynamic select but I hope the sound of my car isn't lying to me through the spesker.. 2013 s5. I'll do some searching.
