What Battery size for Audi A4 TDI B8 (size 096 or 019)

    Hi
I have an Audi A4 TDI B8 (2010). I want to change the battery as I can see signs of losing charging. So went to eurocarparts website, by entering the reg number I found 096 battery suits my car, but when I check the measurements of the battery in my car the length doesn't match. Bosch 096 one from eurocarparts has 278mm, but the one installed in my car is between 342mm - 350mm(approx). However Width(175mm) and Height(190mm) are same.
So I'm confused. Can someone suggest which battery should I buy, I don't have the Start Stop function in my car if that helps.
I wanted post some images, but can't find an option to upload pictures from a computer.
    Thanks
    John

    Thank you,
I haven't checked it. I only checked the measurements without removing the spare wheel holder. Can I remove the spare wheel holder easily without messing up anything?

You should see without removing holder, but nothing to mess there anyway!

Hi I found it very hard to remove the spare wheel holder, also I have a bit of a back pain so can't over do it? I spoke to Tanya.com again and they insisted 353mm length is definitely 019 battery and I can buy it. Shall I buy that one or I must check the labels on current battery.

What Battery size for Audi A4 TDI B8 (size 096 or 019)

But if you look 019 size batteries, they are 100AH and >900CCA.
Check Tanya.com for Varta or Eurocarparts for Bosch they both have 019 batteries.

    Hi
I have finally replaced the battery with Varta H3 019, which suited perfect. ordered it from tayna.com and get it done by a local garage for a tenner. I haven't done any coding, I replaced the batter when 30% charge left.
It is now showing 100% in MMI and stopped showing signs of low battery power.
    Thanks everyone for help.
