Removing Carbonio Airbox and MAF Sensor for Service - HELP!

I did not install this on my car, it was done by previous owner. Car is a 2001 Audi S5. I needed to clean or replace my MAF Sensor and started with cleaning first. Dis-assembly was easy but I am trying to get everything back together and need to remove the airbox in order to get the filter seated properly onto the MAFS. There is some sort of sensor wire on the underside of the stock bottom housing of the airbox and I cannot get this unhooked to remove the box to save my life. Can anybody give me some feedback? There is no mention of it on the APR website nor can I find it referenced anywhere. Not sure, is it the IAT sensor wire?

Are you sure it's not the auxiliary air pump hose? It's located on the fender side of the airbox.

100% POSITIVE. That hose is easily removed/installed. This is a black wire with what looks like a factory clip type connector that is mounted to the bottom side of the airbox. I cannot find reference to it anywhere, including the APR instructions for the various models. They don't show an S5 specific car. This is preventing me from removing the airbox in order to properly secure the filter to the MAF Sensor... I ORIGNALY THOUGHT THAT MAYBE THEY HAD RELOCATED THE iat SENSOR TO THEIR BUT IT IS JUST A GUESS.

Well I finally got it at the expense of my locking tab on the connector. Seems like it is some kind of built-in vacuum sensor as it has a vacuum line coming out of it. Strange there is no mention of it anywhere. I was trying to find my electronic manual, never did locate it...

Isn't that the vacuum line which moves the flap inside the OE air box to take air from the wing inlet hole?

    And 2001 S5??? Do you mean 2001 S4??? B5 or B6??
