    2016 C7 A/S6 Shifter

    I am in the market for either '14-'15 A6 3.0T or S6. I am not a fan of the shifter pre 2016. Has anyone swapped out shifter handle for 2016 unit or know if it can be done. I have seen the RS shifter swaps but don't like those as much as the 2016 shifter.

    I was considering doing the rs shifter swap on my 16'. So Im interested as well. Id have to lean toward that its not an issue though. The most you will probably have to do is swap the boot as well. I was just looking online at the 2014 a4 and s4 and the A4 has a thumb button and the S4 has a front (much like the new 6's). Id think if they were interchangable like that, there pretty similar.

    I've seen some c7 folks did it here, but don't think its that easy to do.
