Forge Splitter Valve Broke In 2 Weeks..?

I installed my brand new forge splitter valve 2 weeks ago.. Yesterday I noticed my boost was dropping a lot under acceleration and only holding 5~6 lbs of boost. I did a boost leak test and I had a bad leak. My splitter valve was leaking from the atmospheric dump outlet very bad. I removed it and tested it. I pushed the valve open with my finger and put my other finger on top of the diverter valve where the small vacuum line connects. The piston closed shut instead of staying open like it should. Is this normal? Can I fix this or do I need to buy a new diverter valve..?

Take it apart does it have the spring in it? Does it have the O ring in the right place? Does it have some grease on the moving parts? That's really it, you can look for chips or cracks that would leak. If something does not look right post a picture.

I would think on the top seal or on the piston but not 100% sure as I have a 008 DV not a splitter.
