So I have to replace my cable and was looking for some guidance on how to go about this. I searched the forum, Google, and YT. Couldn't find anything. Any help would be much appreciated. :)

It would go something like this...
    Buy replacement cable.
    Remove old cable.
    Install new cable.

I just pulled one from a 3.0. It is a 2 part cable. The first part of the cable runs from the battery, towards the passenger side firewall (towards engine) and then along the passenger side frame rail terminating at the alternator. The second part runs from the battery towards and under the ECU and then goes through the firewall inside the cabin.

Damn, sorry to hear. The one I bought looks in pretty good condition. Rather try this route before buying a brand new one. 😮
