    Inner tie rod boot clamp..

So just replaced my driver side inner and outer tie rods. Damn alignment shop tore them up just to tell me they couldn't get them loose for the alignment, they wanted to charge me to replace them so they finish the alignment. No thx, I'll replace them myself (with better parts too). So the new ones are in but I can't get the clamp tool to clamp the inner clamp. Any one have a way of doing this? I've read where some just zip tie it but would rather not. Do they make a 90degree angle clamp tool?

This is the tool I currently have

Certain plumbing pex clamps look like the CV style clamp and they make a 90 degree tool for that, I used side cutters on one of my car to clamp it and zip ties on another one.

Some will disagree, but I've always used zip ties for inner boots without an issue. Was shown that way by an old Ford Tech when I first started.

Also, you learned why it's always a good idea to loosen the locknuts yourself before taking it in. Also a good indicator that they actually did anything.
Stock engine with some rods tossed in. 11.25@132mph.
