C7 A6 Common Issues Thread

Sup fellas,
Coming from the B7 A4 group and looking for an upgrade. I was wondering what are the common issues with the C7 A6 3.0T gas and TDI model and what are the TSBs / Recall work sent out for these vehicles, I've heard of early replacements for the thermostat / water pump / and HPFP but what am I missing? Are there particular years I should focus on over others? Any major work done to their cars?

Thermostats is the only issue I had on my car

How much of a difference is there in fitment to convert a C7 to a C7.5 body style? Is it just the taillights and headlights?

Sorry for the questions. Really want to either buy a 2012/13 A6 and build up with tune / exhaust / pulley etc. There's always subtle changes year to year so just wondering if I'm going miss out on a feature or look to the car.
