    Ko4 compressor wheel torque specs

    So I need to change the compressor wheels on my k04s cause they're all chewed up.I've searched and can't get a straight answer on what the torque setting should be for the nut.if someone could point me in the right direction or possibly let me know it would help out a lot.thanks in advance

    You can't change the compressor wheels without balancing. Best bet is to get some CHRA's and just swap the housings. They pop up on the classifieds from time to time.
    Stock engine with some rods tossed in. 11.25@132mph.

    Im not going to say you "cant", but def rolling the dice.

    Where did you get the new wheels? They might know.

    Its left hand thread so it will tighten itself. It is also a very fine pitch so the torque will be light.
    My guess would be 4-5nm, or 35-45in/lb, and a little loctite.
    There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

    Stupid question time.

    How do you get the CHRA out? When I went to F21's I wanted to take the K03's apart for the fun of it but couldn't figure out how lol. I tried removing the bolts you'd loosen to clock the turbo but for the life of me I couldn't it apart.
