Blessing in Disguise // B8.5S4 with Stoptech BBK on HRE FF15 // TAG Motorsports

We wanted to share with you yet another awesome S4 build that we just wrapped up here at TAG. This client originally had a different set of wheels on the car when he had ordered the Stoptech 380mm big brake kit. That particular wheel did not have the ability to clear said brake system, and needless to say a different set of wheels was needed. We looked to no other than our great friends and neighbors at HRE. With the fairly recent Flowform FF15 being available, we got things moving. With very reasonable pricing, and impeccable looks these are truly a no-brainer. As you can all see, this wheel went perfectly with the Brake selection, and turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Seriously. Those TSW concave wheels that people put on the S4's look way better. Even the VMR reps. That's just nuts

Those are the Flow Formed HRE's that run under $3k a set. Probably closer to $6-7k in those parts; maybe $8k total for all the parts they listed.

Wheels are a personal taste thing. What wheels do you guys have on your cars? Those wheels are tad busy for me on the S4, but I have a feeling the whole package works better if you were to see it in person.

Agreed. Wheels are always a personal preference. We happen to love this setup. And yes, the flow form is a lower cost alternative to the Forged series of wheels that HRE offers. The wheels that did not clear were the VMR's. I have a feeling that the TSW would not clear either.
