Oil Level Sensor Issue 2014 SQ 5

Since my last oil change (roughly 2k miles ago) I've been having my oil level sensor pop on. First yellow saying add 1 quart but ok to drive, then recently it shows up red saying stop immediately.

Long story short, it's been to the dealer 5 times in 3 weeks. They can't seem to figure out the issue. Has anybody else experienced this?

Faulty hood sensor? Definitely has nothing to do with reseting service interval.

I'm surprised they didn't just swap the sensor. This is a common issue across all brands, and the sensor is cheap and relatively easy to replace. (Or...have they tried this? Can you tell us what's been done on each visit - should be accessible on your service invoices.)
