Fitment question for b8.5 allroad owners with aftermarket wheels

I hope someone can give me a definitive answer. I have been looking at a set of wheels from a fellow member, vossen cv3 19x10 with 265/35 tires. Problem is the offset is super high (et55). The seller offered his 15mm spacers, making et40, which is still rather high. I'm currently stock height and will never go lower than b8 avant sline height. Will I be hitting the suspension with this set up? I've looked at a couple of calculators but don't know how much space is actually between the stock wheel and suspension. It seems most people on 19x10 or 20x10s run below et33-35 on their allroad. Any thoughts?

So dropshadow and i run BBS CHRs 20x 10.5 et 25.
He runs a bit lower than me so he runs 255/265s.
I run 275/30s all the way around at a modest drop.
It all depends on how flush you want it to be and how much your willing to cringe driving on sub-par roads :)

Vorsteiner VFF103's 20 X 10 ET30 with 275x30's. I run pretty low and used to rub a bit, recently upgraded the sway bars and was able to lower drive height w/no issues.

Thanks guys! Great rides. I think you helped me make up my mind. I'd have to push the wheels further out on spacers than I'd be comfortable with and probably have to worry about rubbing on the other side. I'm not brave enough to run an aggressive set-up with the roads in the north east!

Bump for similar offset question on 13 Allroad.

Our Allroad is currently getting air installed and we're ordering wheels. After talking to the shop we planned on going 20 x 10 ET25 with 255/35. From what I'm reading on most people's setup this should be safe to drive lowered but I still wanted to ask.

Edit: Compared my proposed setup on the right to J_Sims on the left and all appears fine. I may look into some more tire options.

i like to base b8.5 allroad fitment on the bbs ch-r 20x10.5 et 25 and just use the offset calculator to compute fitment.

why? it was those wheels on the RPI allroad that made me buy an allroad

fitment looked perfect, they may have spaced it out but not sure how much

i have seen them as well on coilovers and they look like they fit just right

I run Vossen x Work VWS-3's, 20x10.5" eta 25 with 275/30 Toyo Proxes. FTG fender height is 26" and I have ZERO rubbing.

Eta 55 is crazy, eta 40 w/ spacers is crazy too. You May run into rubbing on the suspension. I have about 1/4" of room back there.

You want eta 25. Vossen has this for all of their 20x10.5 wheels. I had a similar wheel for a bit. Vossen VFS-5, 20x10.5" eta 25. Perfect fit. You'll be good to go as low as you want on bags with this fit.

You are running 255/30-20 on those 20X10.5?
