SAT Radio not standard?

I bought my b8 (2010 prestige) a few months ago and the SAT radio never worked. I've been talking with the dealer about resolving this and they told me the car never came with SAT radio based on the specs from the factory database. I was under the impression all b8s came standard with Sirius. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Some of the early 2010's didn't come with options that were standard later on so it possible. I.E. no PDC, no auto dimming rear view mirrors etc.

Do you have this screen? You need to call Sirius and activate it.



Also possible that the receiver is disconnected?

I am not an audiophile but was pleasantly surprised that my satellite radio (B&O) actually sounds good; on par with regular radio stations. I was expecting it to be terrible because my mother has it in her CLS550, and it sounds like the music is being played through tin cans.

I have not driven more than 20 miles outside of Boston since buying the S4, so I wonder if location has anything to do with reception?

My only options are Am and Fm under band. No sat option

I prefer the sat radio music options way above and beyond regular radio stations. The quality isn't awful and it keeps me from listening to the same 5 songs over and over.

+2 my favorite station is Octane and the sound quality is much worse than any other station. It's unbearable to listen to. Buy a Bluetooth streaming device and use an app on your phone.
