Years ago I leased an Elantra as a daily when I had to commute a lot and my sales guy had just leased a 2013 s4. He had told me he was putting exhaust on it and such. So fast forward, I pick up a 13 s4 this year. I text him on a whim asking him about his car and if he's returning it soon. Turns out he is in a few weeks. He says he has AWE Touring exhaust (black tips), AWE Non-resonated downpipes, and an H&R rear sway bar with the Eurocode end links (Not sure if they come with them by default?). But he has no stock exhaust. So I asked him how much for the whole exhaust setup if I cover the labor. He says $800. I asked if he would then split the labor. He says How about $650. I was happy with that. He dropped the car off this morning to a local shop, which agreed to do it for 3 hours labor. While the car was up in the air, I decided I may want the bar. The shop wanted 1 more hour to swap bars. The guy said he'd jut be giving it back anyway so he said to just take it for free. Labor was 4 hours plus tax, came to $470.
Recap:
AWE touring cat back
AWE non res downpipes
H&R Rear Sway bar with eurocode end links?
$650 cash
$470 labor
Gave him my stock exhaust and rear sway bar.
Exhaust sounds real code. Has that R32 VW sound. Doesn't really feel faster but we'll see.
